It looks like calls to pitch with transparent pay were a little light… but there’s a whole bunch of super-well paid full time and freelance opportunities.

It feels like publications are being a more reserved with their pitch rates but a lot more public with compensation for full time jobs, especially in the US. 

I’m guessing this stems from legislation in NY and other states which forces companies to publicly state salary ranges. What do you think??

Shout out to the writing assistant, Moonbeam

Okay so if you’re a tech nerd (like me🤓) you might have seen a lot of hype about a few AI tools recently (like ChatGPT).  There’s a lot of talk about how they'll used.

Will they help us or hurt us?

I think the winners will be the ones that enhance what we do.

Again, I think Moonbeam is a great example of this. They help of writers create blogs, essays, and even grant proposals.

The trick: they help write “boring“ parts so you can focus on more of the 'important' stuff  (research, soul, humor 😉)
