So, I guess the headline is that I did survive Vegas. Barely. I did make it out a little worse for wear 😅

It makes no sense at all. It is pure excess, in every sense of the word. But I loved every minute of it! We were out there for a conference, which kept me super busy during the days. And the rest of the city kept me busy at night 😉

Learn how to *actually* stay in touch with people

Okay so this one is a little less writer focused. But it’s super important. 

Staying in touch with people takes like zero effort. But we’re all so bad at it (at least, I am…) It can have such big benefits, professionally and personally.

For freelancers and writers, staying in touch with your clients can make the difference between finding the next writing opp. We all know that referrals are the best way to get jobs. Having a strong network is key.

Personally, I’ve struggled to stay in touch with those who matter to me, particularly after leaving the UK a couple years ago.
