TWJN 121 | Back-to-back weeks with 50 writing opps.. aren't you lucky 😯
28 paid calls to pitch. 21 writing jobs. Early access for TWJN Supporters!
Happy Sunday to 6,155 motivated writers 👋🏼
How’s everyone doing? Good news - the opps are back! The pitch flood gates have opened 🥳
I’m guessing we were quiet for the last two weeks because of the run up to the and of the quarter / financial year. Editors probably ran out of money.😅
But now I’m seeing a lot more opps: over 25 calls to pitch!
As budgets at these publications get finalised I’m guessing we’ll see things pick up even more over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
So that's cool. But what’s happening with me?
Well, I’ve taken up tennis! 🎾
I always love getting outside and staying active. Healthy body, healthy mind 😉
Anyway, that’s enough about me. I hope you all have an awesome week!

Longform, my fav writing podcast
Okay so this is one go my (not so) guilty pleasures. It’s the Longform Podcast by the folks over at Longreads.
Every week they interview the writers and journalists investigating big big stories.
It’s so great hearing these stories from writers at the top of their game.
This recent one with Mary Childs was an absolute gem.
